Announcing the Vault Cross Platform Client [Preview 2]

For a while, we’ve been looking at solutions for running the Vault GUI Client application on non-Windows platforms. Well, after some hard work over the summer, we’ll soon be unveiling our next iteration of the Vault Cross Platform Client, Vault CPC Preview 2.

The Vault CPC will run on OS X (Lion or better) or Linux (GTK only), and for Preview 2 the Source Code Control (SCC) operations have been implemented. Label, Share, Pin, Check Out, Commit, Diff, etc. They’re all there.

I’ve attached some screen shots of the Vault CPC running on OS X. Stay tuned to this blog or the Vault web site ( for upcoming info regarding Vault CPC Preview 2 availability.

The CPC is in the QA stage right now. It shouldn't be too much longer.

Oliver, Went through one iteration of QA and fixes, and last week decided on the final feature set. Right now, the CPC is back in QA for another round of testing. Hold tight… Preview 2 should be just around the corner. -Jeff

Hi Jeff, I tried the Vault CPC and I am not sure why I cannot connect to a https Vault Server v7.1.0.2028. Could this be due to the 'not trusted' certificate of the server? Thanks for the efforts so far!
